I need some extra TLC!

"M y family and I picked up our Joyful Rescues schnauzer/spaniel mix, Cosmo (now star of stage and screen!) the first of week of May 2016, three weeks after our beloved dog Harold died . He recently starred as TOTO in Penfield High School's production of The Wizard of Oz!  Our Joyful Rescue is one of the best decisions our family has ever made – Cosmo has truly been a wonderful friend and member of our family. For the holiday season, we thought that the best way to truly celebrate was to sponsor a transport on my family’s name. All four of our dogs (and our cats over the years) have come from various rescue organizations, and everybody in the   Gabbey family recognizes the importance of animal rescue groups, and the dedication it takes to provide love and comfort for these amazing dogs and cats. My parents have owned three schnauzers – Daffy, Darby and Daisy – and my brother’s dog, Alvy, was a part of the family until he died this past summer at the amazing age of 16! My brother’s wife was the long-time director of the Baltimore, Maryland ASPCA, and continues animal volunteer work in Savannah, Georgia, so dogs are very near and dear to all our hearts. The "Gabbey" transport will hopefully not only save wonderful and loving animals, but also spread as much happiness to as many families as possible. We want adoptive Joyful Rescue families to have as much love and fun with these rescue animals as we have had with Cosmo." ~ Paul  Gabbey
A HUGE thanks to Paul  Gabbey and his Cosmo for such a generous, life-saving donation!
A cat can live 12-18+ years if cared for properly. Be sure you are able to care for it for its lifetime.
Cuddles was born 09/23/2006. She is here because her owner passed away. Cuddles is in good health and has been kept up to date on all vaccines, dental cleanings, and preventatives. We are not sure what happened, but this sweet girl came to us very matted and needed to be trimmed. She is much more comfortable now and when her coat grows back in it will be gorgeous. She will need regular brushing to keep her mat free from now on. She loves the attention, so both of you will enjoy spending time together.  She's a friendly girl who has been well cared for her entire life and is very healthy. She's a little unsure what has happened to her life and where her mom is, but she is adjusting. We feel she would benefit from being in a foster home if someone reading this would like to do this for her. She could use some extra TLC as being in a shelter can be especially stressful for older cats.  We promised her we would find her another wonderful home with a wonderful family to spend the rest of her life with. Will it be with yours? You must meet this beautiful girl!
We will be updating pictures of her regularly as her coat grows out.
