Joplin arrived to Starfish in May and has been on a diet and needed some medical care. She is doing better now and needs a foster or foster to adopt that can take her to the vet once a month for a couple of months for her heartworm treatment. She also needs to stay on her diet. Joplin is a medium size dog, currently 60 lbs, should be closer to 40. She is very low maintenance, is happy with head scratches, loves meal time, and would benefit from a couple of short walks in the cooler part of each day for exercise. She does not care for cats. She has no other medical issues besides her obesity and heartworm, both of which she will fully recover from and will have several more years of love to share with someone. If you are interested in finding out more about Joplin, please email email@example.com. All supplies and medical expenses are covered by Starfish.
