Tumbleweed is a beautiful and rare striped ginger girl – only 20% of all orange tabbies born are female. She has a fuzzy coat and is a silly little kitten, definitely the comedian of the litter! Like her sister Theodora, her CH is mild as she has a bit more of a head bob and a little unsteadiness of her legs. She loves to play with her siblings and one of her favorite things to do is "attack" tiny mice and stuffed animals when they are not looking. She's a lot of fun and always busy! She is also a girl that loves attention and petting. She really cannot jump up very well due to her CH but her mobility is still very good.

About Purr Partners Feline Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Purr Partners was incorporated in 2009, and we currently save and adopt out around 500 cats and kittens each year. We have no paid employees, and as volunteers, we do this because there is such an overwhelming need for rescue for cats and kittens in North Carolina, and because we care very much about the lives of these forgotten animals. We believe that every furry feline deserves a loving family, and try to make that happen. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, and offer their time and talents to help save lives. We are always looking for new volunteers!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have three adoption centers: Wake Forest Petsmart, Six Forks Petsmart, and Capital Crossings Petsmart. Our cats and kittens are at the Wake Forest and Six Forks Petsmart all the time, and at Capital Crossings 2 weeks out of the month. We have volunteers available to allow people to meet our rescues every Saturday from 11 - 3 and every Sunday from 12 - 4. We also arrange individual meets and greets when possible and at different times. We do require an approved application before these individual meetings will be set up. These meetings may be at Petsmart or the foster home of the cat or kitten.

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in possibly adopting, please go to our website and complete an application. This is not a commitment, but when we receive it, someone will contact you within 24 - 48 hours. The application is the first step in our process. Once you are approved, we can make arrangements for you to meet any of our cats or kittens. If you are not sure which one you might be interested in, we can help you narrow your search!
All our cats and kittens are tested, spayed or neutered, UTD on vaccinations, wormed, and microchipped before adoption.
