Are you looking for a fun and spunky puppy?? Meet Jayda, a sweet, 12 week old Lab/Hound mix pup. She weighs about 12 lbs and has a super soft coat. Jayda is a friendly girl who is great with all people, loves other dogs and is young enough to learn about cats. Jayda greets everyone with a wagging tail and puppy kisses. Jayda loves to run and play in the yard and explore her new surroundings. This cutie is an active pup and will need an adopter who can put in the time with her to help her with basic training and to burn off her puppy energy. Jayda is settling into her foster home nicely and learning the ropes of crate training, house training and good social skills. Because she is a baby, she'll require an adopter who is home a good part of the day to continue her training - no exceptions!
Jayda is up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives and will need to be spayed at the age of 6 months. Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo, dog parks & for apartment dwellers not in areas used by other dogs until s/he is 16 weeks old.
The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs....all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many!
