Monte's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Monte's Story...
Monte, a 3 yo Frenchton, has a ton of personality! He loves to play tug of war, chase a tennis ball and chew a nylabone. Monte gets along well with other dogs big and small and he is fine around cats. Monte also loves children. He likes to be rambunctious at times, but will curl up next to you on the couch for a good nap. He is house trained and crate trained. He does ok on a leash, but pulls sometimes out of excitement. Monte can be vocal and might even sound like he is growling, but he isn't. That is just the French bulldog coming out, but he isn't a nuisance barker. Monte will fit in well in almost any home. Although I would not classify him as a couch potato. He will need exercise. He also needs a fenced in yard, because sometimes Monte likes to run and doesn't listen so well when you tell him to come back.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monte, a Courtland Boston Terrier/French Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier/French Bulldog for sale in Courtland, or seeking a Boston Terrier/French Bulldog dog from a breeder in Courtland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Courtland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Courtland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier/French Bulldog breeders who help with Boston Terrier/French Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Courtland paves the way for another one to be saved.
