Apollo is a beautiful 3-year old Afghan Hound mix boy rescued off the mean streets of Dubai as a stray and arriving in NYC on Wednesday, June 21st ready for his forever home. In Dubai, local rescue groups have designated 'feeding locations' where they drop off food for the strays/street dogs. Most of the strays are fearful and skittish...and, then's there sweet and loving Apollo! This boy always stood out and even tried to jump into the rescue vehicle every time they came to feed...he was not to be left behind! Needless to say, they brought him back to the shelter where he was adopted by a loving Dubai family. Unfortunately, the family fell on hard times and could no longer keep this beautiful boy.
Long story, we know, but the history of Apollo is important so that his forever family knows how special he is and how much he deserves a Happy Ending! Apply now for sweet Apollo...he'll bring sunshine, love and tons of affection into your home!
Apollo is available for adoption through In Our Hands Rescue. If you're interested in adopting, the first thing you should do is fill out an adoption application at www.inourhandsrescue.org.
