My name's REX, and I'm a mellow fellow who'll want to lay at your feet, walk by your side, and be your devoted companion. I'm a six-year-old terrier mix with warm and soulful eyes. I get along well with other dogs, and I'd probably do best in either an adult home or in a family where the kids are older and considerate. I've already been house trained, and I'm very respectful all-around. I wouldn't dream of being pushy or jumping up on somebody. Won't you please come meet me? I'm waiting for you here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter. They've got a nice play yard here where we can get to know each other, so please ask the helpful staff to take us out together. Love, Rex"
