My story

There are not enough kind words to describe Macy. Macy came to me as my foster (thanks to Home Sweet Home Pet Rescue) from a kill shelter in Ohio. She was pregnant. My family and friends instantly fell in love with this amazingly friendly little girl. She handled her pregnancy like a champ. We were so, very excited and proud of her. Then tragedy struck and Macy delivered 5 stillborn babies. We were devastated. It was a horrific, sad, awful experience. Macy was not the same girl we knew immediately following. Our hearts were crushed. Then the unthinkable happened. Home Sweet Home Pet Rescue had previously rescued orphaned kittens from a kill shelter and the surrogate mother they placed them with wasn't producing enough milk. Would Macy take these babies? Would she welcome them and care for them as her own? YOU BET!! Macy instantly cleaned each baby from head to toe and nursed them immediately. True, raw, unconditional love right before my eyes. A mother who suffered a horrible loss took in three babies that needed her. Not too long after that she took in a 4th! Macy is approximately 5 years old. She is a cuddle bug and loves being on your lap. You would be blessed to have her as your family member. She talks to you as if having a perfectly normal conversation in her own kitty language. Macy deserves the best home possible. After spoiling and caring for these orphans, it's her turn to be loved and spoiled for the rest of her life. Please help us find Macy her forever home. <3 She changed our lives. She'll change yours too. Macy is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Please contact us if you'd like to meet her.
