My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Scruffy (HWTH#17156A). He is a Jack Russell Terrier mix, DOB: 6/13/13. Scruffy weighs approximately 25-30 pounds and stands 15 inches at the shoulders. Scruffy's owner has relinquished him to Halfway to Home because he could not provide an adequate living area for Scruffy. This is a very loving, high-energy boy who loves water and loves playing with balls. He is very sweet and likes to give small kisses. Scruffy will need an active owner willing to give him the love and good-quality human companionship he deserves and also the exercise and mental stimulation to keep Scruffy challenged and occupied. Getting involved with a dog sport might be one way of giving Scruffy both human companionship and mental stimulation. When Scruffy is settled in his new Forever home, he will also benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training and the bonding process. Once Scruffy has bonded with his new owner, he will make a very loving and entertaining canine companion. Scruffy is good with children of all ages, is also good with other dogs and is crate trained.
