Rory would love to be adopted with her sister Pikachu. They have grown up together in foster care under the loving supervision of Hazel, our super momma cat who loves, nurses and washes all kittens, even those almost as big as she is. Rory gets along well with other cats, kittens and our rambunctious puppy, but she is especially bonded with her sister Pikachu. With both girls slightly timid on first meeting they would do best in a home with adults or older children.
Both are recently spayed, up to date on vaccinations, tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV and Micro-chipped.
We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend at least $125 to cover foster care, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed.
We ask that you cover as much of the $125 as you can afford, and set a minimum donation at $50. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.
