These three finches are looking for a forever home TOGETHER. They are very fun to watch and listen to but finches are not a fan of being held. Please do your research before adopting.

Behavioral assessment: An extremely sweet bird that is a lot of fun to watch and to listen to vocalizations.

Temperament: Sweet little birds that are basically for show and should be handled as little as possible. Finches are social creatures and like to have at least one cage mate. Single birds suffer from loneliness and boredom.

Diet: High quality finch food, boiled eggs, cheese, lettuce, watercress, and dandelion. A more varied diet is necessary for maintaining good health. Be sure to provide fresh water daily.

Habitat: Provide as large of a cage that you have space for, make sure it is square and not round. Provide several perches of varying size and texture placed at various heights throughout the cage. Provide plenty of toys and rotate them frequently to keep her interested. **Finches also enjoy nesting - finch nests can be found at a local pet store.

Mouth/Teeth: Beaks are generally maintained if birds have access to wooden perches of varying textures and thickness.

Nails: Nails are generally maintained through providing perches of various textures and thickness. Please have a vet trim your birds nails as needed.

Additional Information: Please clean the cage regularly, poor sanitation is the leading cause of sickness in birds. *****Handle as little as possible. If capture is necessary, use a small towel to catch --- Beware they are very fast.
