found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Ok, ok, ok...let me calm down for a minute and tell you about me. My name is Oliver and I am probably around 1 year old and a poodle mix. Aren't I handsome? Yeah, I know it.
I was found running around Warren as a stray and I was just so scared. The very kind people at NBS took me in and cleaned me up. They gave me a beautiful new haircut and I am finishing up my shots and getting neutered. So they are now helping me find my furever home!
I am so very happy go-lucky! I can be a little nervous in new situations at first. But once I am comfortable, my true confident colors come out. I love kids (like LOVE them), other dogs and I am just learning about these things called cats. I get along with everyone basically. I like to snuggle, run in the yard with my human and doggy foster sisters and play with toys. I am energetic but also love to crash out on the couch for a good snooze with my people, I am doing GREAT with potty training but I still need some work. I am smart. I am picking it up fast! I can jump really high and my foster Mom says that I have springs for legs. I like treats and eating my breakfast and dinner. I do pretty good in my crate but I really don't like being in it so I will bark in it hoping someone let's me out. Foster Mom says I won't need a crate once I am 100% potty trained. I am almost there! Because I was found as a stray and I was very difficult to catch, I am required to go to a fenced in yard.
My friends at NBS Animal Rescue are helping me to find the perfect fur-ever home. All of the dogs in our rescue are have different personalities and needs within an adoptive home. Not all of my friends here at NBS Animal Rescue have the same requirements, so if I’m not be the perfect fit for your family- be sure to check out my other doggy friends too! For me?
These are the things I fur-sure need in my fur-ever home!
- Family who is gone no longer than 5 hour periods.
- Children of all ages
- 100% fenced in yard.
If you think I might be the perfect addition to your family please follow these steps:
1.) Visit www.nbsar.org to fill out my adoption application. As an approved adopter, my rescue friends can set up a home visit so I can meet you. Our rescue is 100% run by volunteers, to help your application be processed as quickly as possible, please make sure to….
2.) Call your veterinarian and give them permission to release information about your current and past pet’s veterinary history.
3.) Call your references too! Let them know to expect a phone call from an unknown phone number, and a rescue team member will need to talk to them on the phone as a reference.
My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes a DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, de-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine (age appropriate), heartworm test (age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food. If you’d like to meet me, please apply online and to become an approved adopter!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on vaccinations and heartworm preventative , spayed/neutered (unless a documented medical reason is on file with your veterinarian). Dogs must be current on Distemper DHPP combo vaccine and Rabies vaccine, cats must be current on Distemper and Rabies at the time of application. This also applies to any pets in your home within the past five years.
While I hope that you have fallen in love with me and are ready to apply, I understand if I might not be the perfect pup for your family just yet. However, would you please help by sharing my picture on Facebook, twitter or by email? I'm a great pup and need a loving family to give all of my love and puppy kisses to! Thank-you for your help!
