About Milan
Hello, my name is Milan. I’m a DMH Grey and White female with big, bright green eyes that was born in June 2016. I came to AARF when my four kittens and I were abandoned by our previous owners. I’m a beautiful cat and am very sweet. I love attention and love being petted. I also don’t mind being picked up and held. If you have any questions about me contact my foster mom, Taylor, at tay_otto@yahoo.com.

You can meet and visit with many of our cats at the AARF House (311 Harvey St, Winston Salem) during our adoption fair hours. Go to www.aarfanimals.org for information about our adoption fair hours and adoption process.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milan, a Winston-Salem Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Winston-Salem, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Winston-Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winston-Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winston-Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winston-Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
