About Precious
My name is Precious and I am totally into the loving thing. I like to be held and will cuddle with you any time you want. I am a beautiful medium haired black cat with a darling white spot on my neck that almost looks like a pendant. These pictures do not remotely show off how pretty I am. I look a lot fluffier in person and have a really pretty plume of a tail. My brother is Shadow and he and I love to play and sleep together. We would love to be adopted as a pair. I was born around December 2016. Contact AARF for more information on me.

You can meet and visit with many of our cats at the AARF House (311 Harvey St, Winston Salem) during our adoption fair hours. Go to www.aarfanimals.org for information about our adoption fair hours and adoption process.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Precious, a Winston-Salem Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Winston-Salem, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Winston-Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winston-Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winston-Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winston-Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
