My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kelso is an adorable little 6 year old Cairn terrier that would just love a great home of his own. He came to us from our Newark facility after he was found as a stray and no one came to claim him. Kelso sure is a happy and bubbly guy that is always excited to make new friends. He takes to people immediately and has no inhibitions about standing on his hind legs and putting his little paws on your knees to get your attention. Kelso is well behaved and walks like a gentleman on a leash. He is gentle with taking treats and sits nicely when asked. He is spunky and playful but prefers to flop on his back and get a belly rub more than anything else. It seems that Kelso wasn't leash-walked much in his former life because he isn't a fan of getting leashed up, but he gets over it quickly. He will need a home with no young kids but seems just fine with other dogs. If you can give Kelso the happy home he deserves, come in and meet him. File#27347 5/8/17
