found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Kayla is a 3-5yr, 127lb Great Dane. She was surrendered because her owner's were losing their home and moving into an apartment and didn't feel it fair that she be forced to live in a smaller environment after having acres of land to run her whole life. Kayla is nervous around new people upon first meeting but eventually warms up. She is a typical Dane and does get anxious when her person leaves, but not in a destructive way. Kayla is not fond of being crated at all, when she was younger she had happy-tail so bad the vet had to ampituate, but Kayla is trust worthy to not need to be confined. She is very obedient and knows commands (sit, stay, lay, shake) and even listens well off leash. Kayla would prefer a home without younger kids that are not respectful of her age or size. Kayla is still very playful and full of energy and would love a family that she can share the rest of her life with!

Furever Tails is a non-profit, no-kill, foster home based animal rescue based out of Oakland Township, MI. Our foster animals are living in our foster homes and treated like family until they find their own furever family. Our adoption process requires an application to be completed and approved before a meet-n-greet with the animal can take place. Adoption fees are necessary to help us cover vetting costs for our rescued animals.
