Meet our sweet, sweet Semi. Semi is an Australian Shepherd who is six years old. She was brought to our vet my her owner who wanted to have her euthanized. They just 'didn't want her anymore.' We see it all and it boggles our minds. Our vet had the good sense to call us first and Semi will be joining her foster home in NJ at the end of June. Semi is healthy and sweet. She enjoys the company of humans and other dogs. She's at a great age where she's still active but likes to be low key in the home with her people. Semi's ideal home will have a yard and fence so she can be active off lead. Semi has a lot of love to give still.... And would like you to be her next forever home.
Anyone wanting to adopt Semi must be willing to do so in NJ once approved.
~~The Last Resort is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in. If you’re still interested in adopting from our rescue the first step is to complete our adoption application online at www.thelastresortrescue.com/adoptionapplication.htm
