Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Willow! I'm estimated to be 4 months old. I love to play and stick with the people! When it isn't time to play I will sleep on a pair of feet. My favorite game is chasing after my furry foster sister and brother. She will wrestle with me but brother sometimes doesn't want to play and I obey him well.
I do really well on the leash because it gets me awesome walks and places! Car rides are fun, especially when I can be buckled into the front for the best view. When bedtime comes or the people are off working I sleep in my personal bedroom. I can entertain myself with a chew stick until it's time to get back to play. When I have to go do my business I will sit by the door or if I am in my crate I will bark to let you know it is time. I'll sit for the door to open and then sit for my leash.
Oh! I am fostered with some cats and they are way cool. I know better than to chase them but I love asking them to play! They don't speak dog though and just squint at me suspiciously.
The Empty Shelter Project operates as a foster-based animal rescue. We do not have an actual facility for viewing dogs but potential adopters are welcome to meet dogs at our adoption events at PetValu every Sunday from 11-3 (except the first Sunday of the month). If you see a specific pet you would like to meet, please contact us in advance to make sure they will be at the event. PetValu is located at 10079 Market Circle Dr, Manassas VA 20110.
