Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lilly is a 2 year old maine coon mix. She came into the shelter very pregnant and sick. She was placed into CARES Foster to Adopt Program but her babies did not survive. She heard another litter crying for their Mom who had died. She begged the foster to let her care for them and the decision was made to place them together. She took care of the babies like they were her own. She had no milk (babies were bottle fed by foster) but she cleaned them, kept them warm and guarded them with her life around the other animals in the foster home. The babies thrived under her care. Now that her babies are independent, Lilly is fine with the other animals in her foster which includes cats and dogs. She is a sweetheart that melts into your arms when held. CARES request that an application be completed before visiting the animal. Please email info@clarkcountycares.com for an application. CARES holds adoption events at PetSmart in Brannon Crossing, Nicholasville, KY on Saturdays...please email us for dates. Lilly is beautiful inside and out...a true lifesaver!
