HAN SOLO EPSTEIN is a handsome, energetic, larger, 4 yr old male with the best manners since his training with Paul, our trainer, at 'Dogs Best Friend of Central FL.' He was surrendered by his family along with his sister, HARLOW SKYE.
The couple were expecting a new baby and felt it would be best to find a new home for them. They quickly realized that rehoming their fur-kids wasn't an easy task. Too many weirdos, so many things to check out for each potential party and a Home Check! It was overwhelming! Enter BTRET.
The couple contacted us and together we made the necessary arrangements to get these kids into rescue as well as a safe, loving Foster Home until they're Adopted.
He is a quiet, loving, full of energy kind of guy that gets along with other dogs, cats, kids, men/women, chickens and horses. He is potty/crate trained. He does not make a fuss if he has to be crated for any length of time. Han has the best house manners, walks excellent on a leash and is just as regal as can be. He enjoys a RAW BONE to chew on and LOVES to play ball! He will require a companion/couple/family that is active and is looking to add a buddy to accompany her/him/them on their daily journeys. He is an explorer and couldn't be happier on a hike! Han would be ecstatic to find a home as an ONLY FUR-KID, but could also do fine in a PACK

The process always begins with an application which can be found at The Boston Terrier Rescue of East Tennessee website
Note that in most cases, we do not adopt to families with small children, e.g., 'under 6,' as a precaution to the child's safety and the dog's safety. In some cases with larger Boston mixes or other dogs, we do make exceptions. Please ask the foster momma.
We prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to personally drive/fly to get the dog. The East Coast division (NC/SC/VA/MD/DC) does have special transport capabilties for their kids. Ask them.
Also, submission of an application and fee does not guarantee adoption of any specific Boston since that particular dog may have applications pending or may not be the right match for you.
