COCK-A-DOODLE DOOOOO BROTHERS AND SISTERS! My name is Rooster and wouldn't you just like to wake up every morning to my handsome face!

We could start off the day with cuddles, and end it with hugs. Really I just want a loving home with a cushy bed to lay my floppy ears.

I'm super treat motivated and can already sit on command so that should make training a fun endeavor but know that I'd really benefit from a formal obedience training class!

I think it'd be great to head to the dog park and take lots of walks to get some exercise in so I can keep my boyish figure.

Whattya said, friend, do you have room in your heart and home for a pup like me? Well get to filling out that application already---I'M WAITING!

Like most shelter dogs, Rooster may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.

The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Tanya at tanyab@luckydoganimalrescue.org

About Lucky Dog Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a group of highly motivated and highly dedicated volunteers. We spend countless hours making sure that wonderful dogs find loving forever homes. We don't do it for money -- we do it for the joy a dog can bring to its new family; we do it for our love of animals; and we do it to save lives!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.

Our Adoption Process...

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!
