5-1-5-0 somebody call the po' po'! Howdy folks name's Trooper and I'm one handsome devil of a dog! I'm so good lookin' it should be a crime. You know what else is a grave injustice??---the fact that I don't have a home of my very own! Can you help rectify this travesty?

I've spent some time around kiddos, kitties and I loves me some other pooches. Just keep in mind all families and homes are different and just because I've spent time in different environments doesn't mean I won't need time to adjust to your home.

I'd like to take some basic doggie learnin' classes so I can polish up my manners. And as a Dobie mix I'll need plenty of exercise to cull my energy.

So whattya say friend you ready to put on those flashing lights and make a high speed chase to adopt me? Well get to filling out that application already! I'm waiting! Woop Woop!

Like most shelter dogs, Trooper may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.

The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Tanya at tanyab@luckydoganimalrescue.org

About Lucky Dog Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a group of highly motivated and highly dedicated volunteers. We spend countless hours making sure that wonderful dogs find loving forever homes. We don't do it for money -- we do it for the joy a dog can bring to its new family; we do it for our love of animals; and we do it to save lives!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.

Our Adoption Process...

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!
