Pasadena Animal Shelter

Pasadena Animal Shelter, 5150 Burke RD, Pasadena, TX 77504   281-991-0602

Houdini is in kennel P 12 at the Pasadena Animal Shelter.  He got his name because he was sneaking out of his kennel and getting in the kennels with the other dogs.  He was really good for his bath and groom and he walks great on the leash.  He is just a really cute little dog and you would be very lucky to be owned by Houdini.

All of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines---parvo, distemper, bordatella, and rabies. Dogs come with a micr-chip already implanted. Adoption fees is $70.00. Thank you for considering a shelter pet and we look forward to helping you find a great dog match--

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Houdini, a Santa Fe Lhasa Apso/Toy Poodle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Toy Poodle for sale in Santa Fe, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Toy Poodle dog from a breeder in Santa Fe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Fe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Fe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Toy Poodle breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Toy Poodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Fe paves the way for another one to be saved.
