Sweet young pups

These darlings were dumped in Montgomery County with their mom Annabell when they were just weeks old.  Poor Annabell was such a good mom and scrounged for food for herself and managed to somehow take care of  9 puppies!  They were taken in by a soft hearted lady who couldn't keep them, so they were taken into foster care by rescue groups.  6 went to a rescue group in Austin and three are now in our foster care and  fat, healthy and happy-go-lucky puppies.  We think Annabell is a Harrier Hound mix so these pups are going to be big babies.  Trevor is the only male.  They will be altered very soon and finished with all their vaccines and will ready for a loving home soon.  Please email tlandry002@comcast.net for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scarlet, a Santa Fe Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Santa Fe, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Santa Fe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Fe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Fe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Fe paves the way for another one to be saved.
