I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

I am already neutered, good with kids, and good with dogs.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Tyrion was dumped in an office park in the Spring of 2014--at the time he was approx. 4 months old and suffering from a horrible case of mange that had been untreated---he had an infection and hardly any hair---we immediately began treatment with antibiotics and medicated bathes and special food----he has healed up beautifully and is a wonderful dog---loves all people and is calm and sweet---also is great with dogs of all sizes----We will only let this boy go to the very best of homes---dog experience,  a fenced yard, plenty of time for him--we will not let him be crated and alone all day----In rescue he has fallen in love with Cleo--who is a pup too and a more delicate version of  him----we  would certainly love to see them to have a chance to be adopted together---she is in some of the photos with him----she is a month or two younger----Tyrion is currently approx. 9 months as of Oct 2014 and weighs about 70 pounds---we love this boy--please contact us if you would like more info----

All of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines---parvo, distemper, bordatella, and rabies, Puppies have had a series of four vaccines All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative.  In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. Most dogs come with a micro-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 125.00-235.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog.  Our dogs are all fostered in private homes-we have no facility--WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GOOD FOSTER HOMES--YOU MIGHT EVEN WANT TO CONSIDER FOSTERING A DOG YOU ARE INTERESTED IN.  Contact leeselman@comcast for more info on fostering Please contact the person listed in the bio for more information on a particular dog. We are very careful in placing our dogs--and look for the best home for each dog-- Thank you for considering a rescued pet and we look forward to helping you find a great dog match--

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TYRION---AMAZING BOY--N, a Santa Fe Labrador Retriever/Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Mastiff for sale in Santa Fe, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Mastiff dog from a breeder in Santa Fe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Fe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Fe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Mastiff breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Fe paves the way for another one to be saved.
