Laddie -Fun loving boy--N---VIDEO's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

~~Laddie is a 1 year old tie colored boarder collie. He is medium energy, very confident, social boy. He has a great ball drive. Not obsessive over it just very interested in it. He would love to agility or work of some kind. He would do well with kids. He is good with small dogs and big dogs, just as long as they are very playful as well. He needs to be crated when the humans are gone. He is still a puppy and needs the structure. He is potty trained, walks well on leash, knows how to sit, and recalls to his name. He loves to run. Laddie would need to be walked at least everyday. He would love to hike, swim, and go places with you. He is a happy go lucky guy. Since he is young and very social we would like to see Laddie have a social pup in his new home and a fenced yard would be best-- He has been fostered with a professional trainer and done great--he needs a family committed to keep going with his training----   contact    he is fostered with Coco the choc lab and they have a ball together if you are looking for two dogs--- she is posted on our site as well

~~All of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines; parvo, distemper, bordatella, rabies, and puppies have had a series of four vaccines.  All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative.  In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. All  dogs come with a micro-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 175.00-235.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog.  Our dogs are all fostered in private homes at various locations; We do not have a facility.  WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GOOD FOSTER HOMES. YOU MIGHT EVEN WANT TO CONSIDER FOSTERING A DOG YOU ARE INTERESTED IN.  Contact leeselman@comcast for more info on fostering.   Please contact the person listed in the bio for more information on a particular dog. We are very careful in placing our dogs and look for the best home for each dog.  Thank you for considering a rescued pet and we look forward to helping you find a great dog match.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Laddie -Fun loving boy--N---VIDEO, a Santa Fe Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Santa Fe, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Santa Fe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Fe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Fe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Fe paves the way for another one to be saved.
