Maxx!--all things Jack--adorable----_S's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet the oh so adorable Max--he is approx. 18 months old and appears to be a purebred jack Russell.  He is all things that jack lovers love---smart, inquisitive, funny, playful----just so so precious.   He LOVES to run and play---and loves toys--throws them in the air and also likes to hide them and then go find them.    He is good with other dogs--but does best with females a little larger than him  or submissive males---he likes to be the more alpha of the group.    We will not adopt him to a home with very small children or cats--he has not been around cats--so we think he would be happier in a non cat home----  Since he does enjoy the outdoors we do want him to have a nice fenced yard in his new home---- We are looking  for an active and fun loving family--if you are looking for a great little guy please email us for an application   Contact leeselman@Comcast.net

All of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines; parvo, distemper, bordatella, rabies, and puppies have had a series of four vaccines.  All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative.  In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. All  dogs come with a micro-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 175.00-235.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog.  Our dogs are all fostered in private homes in Texas or New England; We do not have a facility.  WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GOOD FOSTER HOMES. YOU MIGHT EVEN WANT TO CONSIDER FOSTERING A DOG YOU ARE INTERESTED IN.  Contact leeselman@comcast for more info on fostering Please contact the person listed in the bio for more information on a particular dog. We are very careful in placing our dogs and look for the best home for each dog.  Thank you for considering a rescued pet and we look forward to helping you find a great dog match.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maxx!--all things Jack--adorable----_S, a Santa Fe Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Santa Fe, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Santa Fe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Fe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Fe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Fe paves the way for another one to be saved.
