Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Violet is an adorable purebred apricot miniature poodle baby girl who is just 4 months old. She has been diagnosed with cerebellar hypoplasia which basically means that she tends to wobble and lose her balance when standing or walking. Her condition does not get worse over time and she could live just as long as any other pup. Please see the video that shows how this condition affects her. Right now she wobbles a lot and needs help with eating and going up or down stairs. She is housetrained but will need a fenced yard as she is unable to walk and potty at the same time. She has had extensive medical and neurological testing done to make sure there is not some other cause for her symptoms. Please research this condition before contacting us about adopting Violet. She will be available for adoption on August 2nd once she has been spayed and groomed. Her adoption fee is $200 which includes spay surgery, all puppy shots, deworming, microchip and flea and heartworm prevention. She cannot go to a home with small children or large dogs as she is so small and fragile. If you are interested in adopting Violet please email healingheartsrescue@hotmail.com You can also text (615) 290-2454. Phone calls may take several days to receive a response. Text message or email is the fastest way to contact us. Violet's adoption does require a home visit to make sure she is going to a safe home in consideration of her limitations. She will also require regular grooming. Violet loves to play with her kitten friends and is good with other dogs and children too. She is available for visitors now. She is getting stronger every day and can even walk on a leash for short periods.
