Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This sweet little girl was picked up by animal control when her owner surrendered her to the shelter.. She is 3-4 months old and 13 lbs as of June 15, 2017. She is just the happiest little dog. She loves to run and play with her buddies and has a really nice disposition. She will still need some house and leash training but is running out to the yard with the others a learning quickly.
The total adoption donation of $525 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. The application is online at http://houstonshaggydogrescue.org/application-process/
Just as a note, if you are in Massachusetts and are adopting directly from Texas rather than from a local foster, there are new quarantine laws in effect. All rescues must be quarantined 48 hours at a state run facility, and in addition, a second interstate health certificate is required to be issued by a Massachusetts vet. This new law may add an additional cost.
