My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Quigley, a female border collie/lab mix who is great with other dogs and kids. She ended up in a shelter because her owner abandoned Quig along with the two other dogs she was living with, however she would not be good with small dogs. Quigley is housebroken and does well in a kennel. She loves to snuggle on the couch with her foster mom, and play with the other dogs in her home. She absolutely loves playing with the hose, but she is also content just wandering around the yard or laying down. At night she sleeps at the foot of the bed and doesn’t move until morning. She needs some work on leash skills as it appears she was never taken for walks. She pulls and will lunge at bikes.

Quigley is a large dog at 70 lbs, and is 10 years old, but she is definitely still active for her age. Recently she had a small tumor on her chest that was removed. The veterinarian said it was a low grade mast cell tumor that may return, but they were confident that they got all of the tumor and that it won’t spread. Quigley deserves a happy life in her golden years. She is a great companion and she hopes someone will take a chance on her.

Quigley's adoption fee is $125.
