LOBO BOY is affectionate and active, he wants to be in the company of dogs and people. He's been great with puppies too, very patient and playful with them. He is more Golden than Shephard and very sweet.
This pup is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped, current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention, and crate trained. We like to stay in touch with our adopters. We also offer complimentary Novice training in Abq.
Our process is to start a conversation about this pup via email (DesertPawsNM@gmail.com), online application, meetgreet/home visit with family members (including furries), trial adoption, stay in touch.
We are active in our work with three Pueblo tribes - rescuing, rehabbing, spay/neuter, education, health/wellness, and emergencies. Most of our adoptable pets have come from here and are then fostered with volunteer families in Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and Los Alamos. Please feel free to ask us questions - we get to know the pets on a very personal level and consider adoption an extended family.
