Crockett's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Crockett's Story...
Crockett is my cuddly pup who is gentle and quiet. He is a Blue Heeler/Terrier cross and will probably be mid-sized of about 35 to 40 lbs. when fully grown. He has the sweetest demeanor and temperament. He is patient and has already learned to sit on command and wait for his food. He would do well in a family that has children. He has been dewormed, microchipped, and has received the Distemper-Parvo combination vaccine, and Kennel Cough vaccine. Since he is not yet neutered, Crockett is not available for adoption outside of the counties contiguous to Bedford County.
For more information, please call the Bedford Humane Society at 540-586-6100, or go to www.bhsva.org/adoptions-home.htm to fill out an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Crockett, a Bedford Blue Heeler/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Blue Heeler/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Blue Heeler/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
