Arthur's Story...
Hey there! My name is Arthur, and I am a 2 year old Chihuahua/Corgi mix. I am a fun, spunky little guy who loves to play tug of war! My favorite thing to do though is be with people, preferably snuggled up on the couch under a blanket. I am house trained and I am happy to go in my crate when you are gone. I am good with cats, and a home with kids would be okay as long as they know how to handle a small dog like myself because I only weigh 12 pounds. I coexist well with other dogs, but I would really love a home where I could be the center of attention! I am neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. My adoption fee is $200. Apply to adopt me here: https://rescueofhope.com/adoption-application/.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Arthur, a Grand Rapids Chihuahua/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Corgi for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Chihuahua/Corgi dog from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Corgi breeders who help with Chihuahua/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
