Tony's Story...
What's up everyone?! My name is Tony! I am as cute and adorable as they come! I'm about 5 months old and am a lab/pittie mix! I was brought to the shelter as a stray but am so excited to find a family to call my own. If you are interested in adopting me, I'd like to let you know that I love stuffed animals! They are so fun to chew on and play with! I would love for my new owners to continue to keep me socialized and teach me manners. I really want to grow into a great adult dog! I am already learning sit from my new human friends at the shelter. I haven't met too many other dogs just yet but have done well with the few that I have interacted with. I promise to love you and be the best dog! Come meet me - you'll fall in love quickly!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tony, a Michigan City Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Michigan City, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Michigan City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Michigan City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Michigan City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Michigan City paves the way for another one to be saved.
