My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Leno was abandoned in family housing at Fort Lee, then his time ran out at the shelter. He is around 1 or 2 years old. At first, we had concerns that he was very aggressive toward men, prone to biting hard and howling like he was ready to fight. However, now that he has been neutered and we've worked hard with him, he has calmed down and is very sweet, affectionate, loveable and playful. We feel he may have been abused and handled very roughly, including being smacked on his ribs, plus his "unneutered state" tomcat hormones, but we're really happy with how well he has done. He is a BEAUTIFUL cat with a plump, sweet face, VERY short fur, and he's very athletic and active. He gets along fine with other cats and enjoys playing chase and climbing. He should go to a person or family with no children younger than teenage, to play it safe in light of his past aggression. He's VERY intelligent, and the only bad behavior we see at this point is that he delights in racing past you to go through doors, so we suggest a can of pennies to shake at the front door to discourage this behavior.
