Otis's Story...
Sweet Otis, that whats this guy is called.  Otis is a big teddy bear and wants very badly to be back in a home all his own.  Sadly due to circumstances beyond his control Otis was adbandoned in his home and had neighbors taking care of him.  Otis walks well on leash, knows basic commands, and takes treats so gently its amazing.  Otis got along well with the neighbors female dogs and seems ok with all dogs.  He is a big guy, weighing 75lbs and could actually stand to add a few pounds. Otis doesn't mind cats.  Otis would be great in just about any famliy type situation and he was with yound kids and adults.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Otis, a Holland Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Holland, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Holland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Holland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Holland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Holland paves the way for another one to be saved.
