Tucker's Story...
Hello! I am Tucker! I am 8 months old and weigh 18 lbs. I have a long thick body a lot like a Basset Hound, but am mixed with other breeds.
I'm a typical puppy that is curious, loving and playful. I can be shy at first, but warm up quickly. I am fine with other dogs and kids. I haven't been around cats, so I would probably chase them! I am young enough to be taught how to love a cat though! I am working on potty training, but you will have to help me master it!
I was rescued with 10 other pups from a farm in rural Tennessee. We all had three different moms and who knows who our dads are!! Our moms are getting spayed and staying with the owners. We are getting vetted and will be available by June 23rd!
Please note that this dog is in Tennessee and will be transported via Pooches On The Move. Potential adopters will be able to speak with his care taker to learn all about him and have all of their questions answered.
He is neutered and UTD on all required vaccinations. He is microchipped, heart worm negative and on a heartworm and flea preventative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Beacon Basset Hound/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Beagle for sale in Beacon, or seeking a Basset Hound/Beagle dog from a breeder in Beacon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Beacon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Beacon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Beagle breeders who help with Basset Hound/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Beacon paves the way for another one to be saved.
