Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Otto's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.

Otto's Story...
He is looking for a single person home!!!!

Otto found himself homeless when his long time owner passed away. His person was all he knew and he loved him very much. Otto will best fit into a home with a SINGLE PERSON HOME. He becomes very attached to one person and seems to resource guard his favorite human. He would be okay in a home with dogs and cats if he is properly introduced. Otto is currently in Tennessee and potential adopters could meet him and speak directly with his foster family. Otto is a 9 years old, happy and healthy. He has been neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations. He is heartworm negative and currently on a heartworm and flea preventative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Otto, a Portland Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Portland, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
