My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Princess and Baby are senior Chihuahua mix buddies that lost their home. The family had these little nuggets since they were puppies and had to surrender them to Friendship because there was a divorce in the family and there was no longer anyone to care for them. Princess and Baby are super sweet but frightened when they first arrived. They are feeling safer and more confident each and every day. Their family did not provide any additional information on them. Princess is the darker colored dog and is 10 years old. Baby is 8 years old and has more white in her fur. She is partially blind, but gets around fine once she knows her surroundings. They are both female. The first 3 photos are Baby and Princess after being at the shelter a week and more at ease. The last pic is when they first arrived and were extremely scared. Because of their age and size an adult household or older children are recommended. Princess and Baby are very bonded and would love to be adopted together. Being seniors their adoption fee is only $50 each.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
