This handsome 4 year old Black Lab is in need of a new furever home (DOB 2/2013; weighs approx. 45 lb.). Kirby, along with his fur-sibling Nala were surrendered when their family divorced and neither party could find a way to keep them. This fella is so friendly, energetic, and playful! Kirby loves car rides and does well with other dogs and cats. Knows his basic commands - sit, shake, lay down and will "come" on command. Kirby would do best in a home with older children as he does get quite excited when playing and likes to play nip - a little bit of work/training could easily correct this though. Still, older children who would not be fearful of a play nip would be best for him. Inside the home, Kirby is a big couch potato and is housebroken. Kirby really is quite a love and such a handsome boy - stop in and meet him and see for yourself just how wonderful he truly is!
