My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emmy Lou - 8 year old female Miniature Schnauzer. Emmy Lou was rescued from a LA county shelter after she had been turned in by her owner, Her owner said she had gotten her from a friend and had her 1.5 years but was moving to a place that didn't allow pets. So this will Emmy Lou's at least third time looking for a home. Emmy Lou was extremely thin when we got her, in fact we worried that something might have been wrong with her, We had a dental done on her as well as a senior screen (blood work and urinalysis ), we are happy to say all turned out normal. We were also able to get her to gain almos 4 pounds in 2 weeks (she was 10 pounds and now is 14)... she has a good appetite! Her ideal weight is closer to 16 pounds.

Our adoptions are restricted to residences of the greater Los Angeles, CA area. We do not ship animals nor do we do any type of long distance adoptions.
