IDGSR WELCOMES ROSE INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!
Rose is a 1 yr. old young female whose owner gave her up because they got her when they were already elderly and had to move in with family, so Rose had to go. We are not sure why people do not put more thought into getting a puppy and how a puppy may not be the best idea when you are elderly and/or having health issues. Dogs are a 10-15 yr. commitment and having a pup is a lot of work, effort and patience. Rose is a sweet girl that needs a patient adopter who will continue to socialize her. Right now she is very timid but willing to learn. This is all new to her, being around other dogs like herself and seeing, hey, they are having fun. She is good with other large breed dogs, not cat or kid tested yet. We will be posting more info about this sweet girl as we get to know her.

PLEASE READ. Regarding the application processing fee: IDGSR requires that all applicants submit a $20 non-refundable application processing fee. Please note that submitting an application and fee does not guarantee that you will be approved or guarantee the adoption of any specific dog, since that dog may have other applications being considered.
Each dog's adoption fee varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (PUPPY
$250 for any dog 1-6 years (YOUNG & ADULT)
$200 for any dog 7 years (ADULT SENIOR)
All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, monthly preventative, and have been spayed or neutered.
Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise.
