Skippy is an adorable one-year old male Terrier mix who arrived at the HSOV on June 20, 2017 after a Good Samaritan found him on Colegate Drive in Marietta Ohio and brought him to the safety of our shelter. Unfortunately he was not wearing a collar so there was neither a dog tag nor an id tag to enable us to locate his owner .. And he was not microchipped :(

This handsome little man has a bicolor medium smooth coat in varying shades of brown, a rather long body, short legs, a long tail, and a darling Terrier face with a black button nose, trimmed whiskers, and floppy ears which are covered in wavy hair. Skippy is a happy youngster who loves everyone. He does the cutest little prancing routine with his front paws when you talk baby-talk to him :)

Skippy weighs 14.8 lbs. and has already been neutered.

Surely someone is frantically searching for and missing this sweet dog.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Skippy will be held for three days to that his owner will have an opportunity to come and reclaim him. In the unlikely event that happy reunion does not take place, he will be available for adoption on June 23, 2017.
