Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet beautiful LOVE; estimated date of birth is July 2016. Currently he is 37 pounds.
Love spent the initial part of his life living neglected and on the streets. DRWB rescued him and he moved in with a wonderful family that loves him and has fully rehabilitated him. He lives with other dogs, cats, and a family that has Mom, Dad, and grown up children. He socializes very well with everyone.
Love is not destructive or a barker. Walks great on leash and LOVES car rides. He also loves to be petted and loved. He is very smart, obedient and loyal.
When he first meets someone, he is cautious, but has never been aggressive. He also becomes timid and afraid if reprimanded in an angry tone of voice; this is understandable considering his past life. Despite his sad start in life, Love is a very loving dog that wants what all of us want: TO BE HAPPY.
He used to get a little tense when sharing his plate, but his foster has corrected that behavior and now he is more relaxed if he has to share.
He lives indoors with access to a yard where he plays a lot with his doggy friends. He sleeps in a crate or on his bed right next to the foster's bed. When he first moved in he has a couple of accidents in the house but now he knows where to go potty; he either goes during his walk (preferred method) or on an area with synthetic grass in the backyard.
The family that ends up adopting Love must be very careful to not leave any doors open while he gets acclimated to his new place.
Love deserves to go to a great home, to someone who will treat him with love and respect for the rest of his life. He CAN'T ever end up in a shelter or the streets again. ONLY serious adopters please.
