Here's what the humans have to say about me:
6/20/17 - Meet Mango!
She has been given a new name to start a new life and forget the past six months. This sweet girl has so much love to give and if you met her, you would never understand how anyone can just see her as disposable. Mango was born at the Humane Society in November 2016. She was adopted out and deserved to have a fairytale ending, instead, she was found running loose, looking for anyone to give her food and love. When her owners were contacted because of the microchip, they did not seem concerned, they were told where she was. They were repeatedly contacted for two weeks until the vet said she had to go back to the shelter. We couldn't let that happen!
Mango is an urgent need of a home, but is going between foster care and boarding because have no open fosters. She does a doggy daycare every day where she boards, and loves other dogs! She also adores the three and five-year-old boys that come and play with her, giving them constant kisses. She is a little under 40 pounds and full of energy. She is doing well on a leash, rides well in a car and has not had accidents in her suite. She is fun-loving and would absolutely adore an active family or anyone to give her lots of love and attention. She will be a wonderful and loyal companion.
The adoption fee of $495 includes age-appropriate vaccines, initial de-worming, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, USDA interstate health certificate (for transport only) and transport fee. Please go to our site for general information and the adoption application. fordogssakerescue.org. The application is the first step in all adoptions/inquiries. This is not a link; please type in into a new browser window. At this time, we are unable to adopt to Rhode Island residents. Please note: Pups marked “pending” are adopted but not yet traveled home. They are to be considered unavailable. Thank you. Additional information is available on our site fordogssakerescue.org.
