Samantha's Story...
My name is Samantha and I am a 9 week old gray tabby kitten. I will be ready for adoption around July 13. I had a pretty rough start in life. I came to my foster mom weighing a whopping 6 ounces! She got me all better and now I am the happiest kitty ever! I have dainty features that go along with my sweet and mild personality. I like to play with my siblings, Stanley and Sabrina, but not too rough like they like to play. I am more content with being in my human's lap. I love to be anywhere my human is! My favorite thing to do is snuggle with my human! I could do that forever! If you come meet me, you can see for yourself! I am fostered in Huntsville, AL and felv/fiv negative. I will be up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped at the time of adoption! The adoption fee is $75 and you can fill out an application at www.forrescue.net!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samantha, a Knoxville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
