My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

6.21.17
Darla went to the vet today and did wonderful. She is happy and affectionate, even gave the Dr. a big kiss! She is a big girl at about 77 lbs, but is not fat at all. She is, we believe, a lab/aussie mix. She is a bit nervous, but has come a long way. She is completely house trained and never soils in her area! She met a puppy today while on leash and did excellent, but I was told she is not good with other dogs. I don't know about cats, but she likes kids. She will need a home with a fenced yard and an active family. She will also need time to adjust, it will not be an overnight adjustment and if you are interested in adopting her, please realize it may take a few weeks for her to be completely comfortable with you. I had all her shots updated and she was tested for HW, lyme, ehrlichia and anaplasma. She is lyme positive, but has no clinical signs at all. She did get her first lyme vaccine today and will have another in 30 days. If interested in Darla, go to www.hubbardshounds.com and apply. Please be sure you are willing to give her the time she needs. She is about 3-4 years old.
