My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Ellen (HWTH#17194A). She is a purebred Maltese, DOB: 6/12/12. Ellen weighs approximately 6 pounds and stands 10 inches at the shoulders. Ellen is one of many purebred dogs relinquished to Halfway to Home by a local animal clinic where they were abandoned by the breeders after the dogs had served their purpose. She is an extremely sweet little girl who may need just a little time to adjust to her new-found freedom. It will be imperative she receive lots of love and good-quality human companionship so Ellen can experience the bonding of a dog with her human. When Ellen has thoroughly settled into her new Forever home, she will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training and the bonding process.
