Kane's Story...
Kane is a sweet and spunky little pit mix puppy of about 8 months old. He came to us with his siblings when the litter of pups were found living in positively deplorable conditions in a residence in Newark. The group of pups spent several weeks getting healthy and strong and finally, they were ready to meet families that will give them the happy lives they deserve. Kane comes off as a little shy when you first meet him but don't let him fool you....he is full of fun-loving puppy energy and he just loves people. Once he gets to know you he'll be climbing up your lap, looking for attention, or pushing a toy at you to get you to play. Kane doesn't have much experience with the real world just yet so he will need basic puppy training and help with walking on a leash, but he's getting the hang of things quickly. He is super sweet and lovable, and he just loves everyone he meets. He gets along great with his siblings and would do well in a home with another dog, but will need a home with no kids under 10. This sweet little guy will bring lots of joy to a good family. File#27274 5/18/17

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kane, a Forked River American Staffordshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Forked River, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
