Facts about Janie

  • Breed: Siamese
  • Color: Cream Or Ivory (Mostly)
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
With her beautiful Flame Point markings and brilliant blue eyes, Janie is one gorgeous feline! This sweet girl LOVES interacting with her people. To say she loves cuddling would be an understatement! She adores being picked up and held close. An open lap is an open invitation for Janie to make herself at home. Ok, if we’re being honest, the lap doesn’t even have to be open…Janie is totally open to sitting on your lap even if there is another kitty occupying it!

When Janie first joined the RESCUE family, we thought she was suffering from one heck of a cold. Imagine our surprise when we found out she had a hole in the roof of her mouth! Fast forward through soft palate repair surgery, the removal of TEN cc of junk from her sinus, no hard food or toys for two week, and Janie is doing GREAT! She is loving life now that she’s all fixed up!

Now that she’s feeling tons better, Janie is showing more interest in toys and will even play games of chase with her feline friends! Janie is also inquisitive and enjoys exploring her surroundings.

This lovely, gentle, affectionate gal will make a wonderful companion to anyone who is looking to add a little bit of love to their lives! To learn more - www.azrescue.org.

About RESCUE

About Our Rescue Group...

RESCUE is a registered non-profit volunteer based animal rescue organization located in Maricopa County. RESCUE has no central facility and is volunteer run. Our focus is on the "kill lists." We were founded in 1995, and with the support of our volunteers and our community, we have found homes for over 11,000 dogs and cats. Our motto is for every animal adopted, we are back to rescue another. We depend on the community for our support and offer a variety of satisfying ways for you to get involved in our mission to end the killing of the orphaned dogs and cats. Please consider adopting, volunteering or donating.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a shelter. We are at various special events around the valley. Please see our Upcoming Events section on our website for further information. We look forward to meeting you and introducing you to some of our wonderful animals.

Our Adoption Process...

Fill out an online application, have an interview with a Matchmaker, if we are in philosophical alignment, set up a meet and greet and if all goes well finalize the adoption. Our service fee for dogs is $150 and $125 for cats. All our dogs and cats are spayed and neutered prior to adoption.
